TV REVIEW: Archive 81 (Season 1)
Cults, compounds, and seances cause lots of creepy vibes, Kaelego is scarier in the static than coming to life, and the Vos Society comes in way too late to matter. Plus, what’s the deal with Dan’s ex-gf?
Cults, compounds, and seances cause lots of creepy vibes, Kaelego is scarier in the static than coming to life, and the Vos Society comes in way too late to matter. Plus, what’s the deal with Dan’s ex-gf?
The season wraps up with ritualistic murder, a major identity reveal, a harrowing trip to another dimension, and one of the most awkward bro hugs ever filmed.
We flash back to the 1920’s for the history of the Vos Society, the cult, and the woman in the paintings. Plus, Dan is out of the compound, Annabelle might NOT be out of her mind, and who knows if Kalego ever really came out of the computer screen.
The mold is everywhere, The Circle is cursed, and the face that was in the screen… well, it’s not just in the screen anymore. Things are getting really weird.
The mystery starts to unravel – and so does Annabelle. Plus, Melody confronts Samuel, Dan confronts Virgil, and a new friend confronts the sidewalk at a very high speed.
We’ve got a good old-fashioned séance! Plus, Dan and Melody can’t stay away from one other, Mark gets an unwanted visitor, Annabelle’s painting goes awry, and marble notebooks are creepy.
Dan hacks the system, Melody gets a warning, Jess gets an exorcism, and the ghosts of 1994 might be tearing a hole in the space/time continuum. Plus, Cleo’s a good girl 🐶
Come for the satanists. Stay for the Visser Historical Society’s sex cult theme song. There’s some weird stuff happening in this building.
Weird, weird stuff happened in this building before it burned down. And now a guy with a history of mental health problems and paranoia agrees to work for a shadowy organization, live in total isolation with no internet and spotty cell service, and reconstruct the footage. What could go wrong?
